Collaboration between Aston University and GUCAS

GUCAS sighed a collaboration project with the Aston University as the Vice-Chancellor of Aston University Prof. Julia King visited GUCAS.

Julia’s academic work includes over 160 papers on fatigue and fracture in structural materials and developments in aerospace and marine propulsion technology.  Her research has been recognized through the award of the Grunfeld, Bengough, Kelvin and John Collier medals.  In 1997 she was elected to Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering and was made a CBE for ‘Services to Materials Engineering’ in July 1999.  She is a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths’ Company, an Honorary Graduate of Queen Mary, London, and an Honorary Fellow of Murray Edwards College, Cambridge, Cardiff University, The Society for the Environment and the British Science Association, and the recipient of the 2011 Lunar Society Medal.

CMO began to collaborate with Prof. Frank Wise's group at Cornell University

Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Technology (LOIT) at CMO led by Prof. Yishi Shi and Prof. Yali Wang signed a collaboration contract with Prof. Frank Wise, Cornell University. Under this contract, the two groups will begin to collaborate on research fields of semiconductor nanocrystals and ultrafast optical physics.

Collaboration Contract for Educating Graduate Students, CMO and TMHRI

The College of Materails Sciences and Opto-Electronic Technology (CMO), GUCAS sighed a collaboration contract with The Methodist Hospital Research Institute (TMHRI) for educatuing graduate students collabaratively on May 30th, 2011.t

 

 

 

 

 

 

CMO began to collaborate with Prof. Yunlong Sheng's group at Laval University

Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Technology (LOIT) at CMO led by Prof. Yishi Shi and Prof. Yali Wang signed a collaboration contract with Prof. Yunlong Sheng, Laval University, Canada. Under this contract, the two groups will begin to collaborate on research fields of nano-optics.
